Hi guys,
This message is a bit late, but all the same I need to leave a message, so here’s my story, I was very ill for around 2 years I had all the usual tests and was still ill losing weight and I was tired all the time if I even looked at a chip I felt sick but in august 2011 I got diagnosed with celiac disease I followed the doctors instructions and started the low fat gluten free diet and found my self getting better I haven’t had fish and chips for around 3 years because I was so ill if I ate any thing fatty or fried, the owner (Sean I think) was so understanding I can honestly say the chips and sausage I ate was the most amazing meal I have ever eaten NO JOKE and they even had gluten/wheat free vinegar amazing, and the price was the same as the normal menu. I don’t go the chippy that often but from now on there is only one chip shop I will visit thanks guys and see you soon

As promised (or should we say threatened!!) - we were here again today!
A always the welcome, the food and the service were 1st class!!
Here's a question for everyone reading this...... how many chips shops do you know that have free hot turkey baps & free drinks (beer, wine & vodka slush) for their customers?? Well Atlantic do!
If there is a national award for chips shop of there year - then it belongs here!
We'll be back over in about 3 weeks.
And many thanks for the "extra"!!

WOW Gluten free fish and chips, I was so excited after my partner found this fish and chip shop online on the Sunday evening we went there on the Monday evening,the food was fabulous.It was so nice to be able to enjoy food and know there was no cross contamination, we were given samples of the gluten free curry sauce, faggots, and spam/pineapple fritters they all tasted wonderful,We will be regulars from now on. A big thank you to the manager and staff as its so nice not to be treated like a leper as many eating places do when you have coeliac diease.

I have used the chip shop for various events and have found the staff very helpful and always have arrived on time, I can honestly say that they are the best fish and chips I have ever had, and I wish them every sucess with their business.

Another visit - and another wonderful experience. Troy wishes it was nearer as he doesn't travel that well - but the 50+mile round trip is worth it he says!
The welcome, the service and the food are out of this world. Just begs the question - why can't more be like this??
We're already looking forward to Christmas Eve!
And if anyone is reading this thinking about paying a visit - stop thinking - just do it - you'll be so glad that you had!!

We now have 'coeliac-friendly' food from here on a pretty regular basis (not good for the diet lol!) and can honestly say that it has been delicious every time. My partner, who isn't a coeliac, also enjoys the food and we've tried everything from the battered cod, fishcakes etc. to chicken meat in a W&GF pitta bread. Would recommend to anybody and will continue to be regular customers as the food, and service, is great

OMG OMG ive just eaten battered sausage chips & curry sauce GLUTEN FREE for the 1st time since i was diagnosed with coeliac diesease. The food was absolutely out of this world, Sean, Sarah & all the rest of the team were very helpful, pleasent & couldn't do enough for me. I will definately be returning & will recommend this fish bar to anybody. MANY THANKS...

We came over from Leicester for our 3ed visit yesterday - a month after our previous visit. Upon arrival, we were instantly remembered from our last visit, which was very nice. Troy is the coeliac - and we ordered cod, battered sausage, onion rings and chips - all gluten free - and shared. The food was very very nice, and coming from someone that does not have to follow a gluten free diet, you would not have known the difference between the food we had yesterday, and "normal" fish & chips
A big massive thank you to all of you for your hospitality. We will be seeing you very soon, and quite regularly from now on! Troy (And Simon)

Sarah our daughter has been Coeliac for five years and we have tried quite a few fish and chip shops but none compare to The Atlantic! The battered sausages are to die for and it is well worth the drive from Derby! We've been on holiday for a while and our whole family can't wait to get back for our fish and chips!
